P. JOE SHAFFER Design offers a full range of creative services, construction oversight and project development. Our objective is to make an aesthetically pleasing and functioning interior while lightening the stress and workload that many clients feel during the production process. Services may vary from project to project but the following list will give insight to some of the areas on which we consult most often.

For every project, we develop a scale drawing to show how architectural elements, furniture, and flooring appear and relate in the finished space. Our time is then devoted to the sourcing of innovative materials and design elements, writing a fully detailed proposal to explain and price each item needed to complete a scheme and of course writing, placing and following up on detailed purchase orders and workroom orders. Our active approach keeps us involved and in direct oversight of our excellent workrooms and requires us to devote a great many hours to standing on the project site consulting with contractors and directing the minutia of actual hands-on work.
